During the 1970's Derek and Jill worked with the village children as Sunday School Leaders as part of St Georges Church. The  meetings often held at there home with there basset hound as company was always fun filled with singing and activities. Full of community spirt. Derek and Jill also took us on trips including the horse drawn narrow boat on theTiverton Canal. We travelled in couple of mini-buses - The yellow banana and the white snowball hired frow one of the local schools. Derek's violin playing was legendery. That with the din of the children must have been heard the length of West Street. Both Derek and Jill followed the progress of the Sunday School children and remained friends with them and their families. Inspirational spirits. Test in peace.
